Team 101

TEAM101 is a developmental program offered by Team Charlotte designed for swimmers between 6-10 years old already familiar with freestyle & backstroke. TEAM101 helps new swimmers build a solid technical foundation and confidence swimming all four strokes, better preparing them for summer league and year-round competitive team programs.

TEAM101 is offered seasonally, in 8-week sessions, each fall, winter and spring. This group will work to improve swimmer's freestyle and backstroke technique as well as learn correct skills for breaststroke and butterfly. The primary goal of each session of TEAM101 is for swimmers to gain confidence swimming all four competitive strokes and prepare swimmers for placement in one of TEAM Charlotte's competitive team training groups. 

TEAM101 Prerequisites

Freestyle: breathe to side with continuous kick for a 25,

Backstroke: 25 on back at surface with alternating arms and a continuous kick, basic knowledge of butterfly and breaststroke, and the ability to apply coach instruction in practice.

All swimmers must try out and receive a placement in order to register for TEAM101.

$335/session + an annual USA Swimming Registration Fee ($20).

All fees are non refundable.
